Alright, gang. Here is an initial release of the vBmac style. I am calling it beta 1, as there is still more work to do, but the majority of the feel is there. There are still some images to be done, though a vast majority are covered. This is the first time I have ever shared a whole style for download, so there may be some kinks to work out.

- Specifically, in use on my test forums, I have all the default image paths, but last second I changed the images folder name to vbmac_images so that no mix up would happen. I'll clear this up in the next preview release. But it's not major enough of an issue to go back and change at this moment, I don't think.

Features
- All of the graphics are mimics of OSX Aqua style. Nothing was actually taken from the user interface. I tried my best to match the style the best I could, and I do think it looks very close.
- The navbar links replicate the Menu Bar at the top of the screen in OSX.
- In place of "New Thread" and "Add Reply" buttons, guests see a blue aqua button prompting them to "Register to Post", which links to the register screen. A smaller white aqua button replaces the "Quote" button within posts for guests that acts the same as the previous mentioned buttons.
- Two different Logo graphics are available right now: A Blue Aqua, and a Black Aqua logo.
- (forgot this) Unique postbit that is designed to duplicate common button structure found in OSX.

My Plans
- Get caught up on bills and start making money at my new job.
- Finish the graphics, replacing ALL images with OSX counterparts, including Smilies & Icons.
- Customize templates more to make the style stand out a bit more.
- Finish tidying up my layered graphics and release several GDKs. (One for large buttons, one for smaller buttons, and one for logos)
- Accept input from users and improve the style in any way possible.
- Become a rockstar.
- (Forgot this) Finish the postbit and do a matching legacy_postbit.

What Can I Do?
If you are curious what you can do, then keep reading. You can install this beta release of the style and check it for improvements. If anything comes to mind, be sure to let me know right here in this thread or in a PM! Also, you can check out my band's website (http://www.centeredmusic.com/) and listen to some music. Also, if you work for Apple, you could not be mad that I am doing this and take it as flattery that I am spending countless hours trying to replicate your fashion style and incorporate it into a forum (won't it be exciting to see OSX style smilies?!).

Thanks
I'd like to thank The Architect for his help, suggestions, and enthusiasm. I'd like to thank my mother, and most of all, you...my ever loving fans. Without you I couldn't do this...and I'd like to dedicate this award to my...oh never mind!

Thanks guys. But it's only an initial release. I would really appreciate anyone installing it and giving me feedback.

As for the release, when it's actually done, I will probably just keep it released here.

Looks very nice, are you also going to make the other Mac OS X style's?
That'd be great:)

Other OSX styles? I have Aqua and Graphite, and I'm running the latest version of Tiger. If there is a high demand for graphite, I could do it. Most of the blues would get replaced by a drab grey, so it's not like it would be very hard.

Feedback?
I find the gradients a bit too extreme, I'd have them run into a less green color, or put the green further down.

I tried to download and file says it is invalid or corrupt... :(

The gradient is so close to the OSX gradient. I'll compare the two and even compare the two.

I'll try and make a new zip and see what the issue is.

Thanks Neeto, but I tried clicking on the new one and got the same error. Can you email me the file to cpadmin@cpfools.com?

*Update, received your file and uploaded fine, but where does your vbmac_images directory get uploaded to? I tried root and forum with no sucess.

I've installed it and it looks nice! I added or changed some images and can have a look here :

I already have a Mac style here and not sure which I like more:

What do you guys/gals think?

Side note, I do get an object expected error when attempting to use skin selector drop down using Neeto's skin as well as there is a missing image (Red X) next to where the avatar should be in Neeto's skin as well.

That style has some images directly ripped. For my own purposes I chose not to do that. Anyway, I'm still working on more images, and will keep updating the style. May have another release in say a week.

I just realized I can't edit my first post. lol I went to update what is being finished with the next release, but I can't!
