I was wondering when you make button sets... do you have to zip them up a special way?


I can make good GFX but I was wondering if I made a buttons set do I just make a seperate image for all the buttons like "user cp,calender,FAQ...etc." and save them all seperatly and zip them?

No, you can just put them in the zip and send them out :)


Also, if you want them to overwrite the others. Make sre you have them as the same exact name.

If you distribute them, make sure there aren't any official vBulletin logos and stuff left behind. So the work done is really your work and no copyrights are being broken.

Normally a good button set (commercial one) is one that is zipped up so almost everybody can unzip it (no special settings etc) - a install or readme (.html or .txt) file is included and the .psd (photoshop) file is included so its easy to make additional buttons in case the set is incomplete for that particular site. Ofcourse, there are no written rules for this, so do what you want.

Ok so I can just make a bunch of buttons, zip them and include a psd. and a sample and thats it!
