Where do I go if I want to register on your forum?

That design looks great. For a person who is bad with graphics, you have done a great job.

Antialias "Gaming" and "Treme" a bit better. Jagged edges = no ;)

Try it without the gradient behind the logo... no gradient might look better than a gradient that looks out of place. Make the background on the logo a dark grey like you've got for your alternating color, then play around with some Photoshop effects on it like drop shadow or pillow emboss.

I would probably make a fixed spacing between the text and the grooves on the buttons just under the logo, and make sure all the text is centered. (your Contact Info and About buttons are up higher than the rest)

If you're going to use all caps for your forum nav buttons, try it with a pixel font such as Visitor TT2, and make the contrast on them a little better - light grey on lighter grey is hard to read. Oh, and try and see what it looks like with the "Forum Nav" text on the other side of the diagonal separator.

Overall, very nice job for someone not good at graphics :)

fury is right, getting a nice smooth letters and correctly aligned top_menu buttons will improve it quite a bit.

But it is still good for a first run.

Take the guy that's on the righthand side of it out and it will rock!
