This is really not worthy of any kind of tutorial or anything, but if you're like me, you saw the "legacy" postbit and it seemed a little OFF. One reason for this is that it has no inner border.
Find <table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="0" at the top of postbit_legacy.
Replace with <table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]"
Cheers, and happy new year!

Do you have a before/after screenshot for us? :)

lol. No, but there are no inner borders before, and after there are. When I am on work break I will see about doing a screenshot for people not knowing what I am talking about. It will be with my site layout though.

It's like the one you released at vBT, right? Just backwards.

Um....no.
This one makes the legacy postbit just like the rest of your site. If you look at the postbit, you will see that inside it there are no borders. The rest of your forums HAVE borders inside tables. Lemme get a screenshot. *arg*

There was no bad involved. In essence, what this does is exactly like the mod I released before. By default though, the vb gamma theme has a darker outer border and a lighter inner border.
For whatever reason, the legacy postbit by default has no lighter inner border, so if for any reason your design doesn't use the dark outer and you go with a more classic vb look, your legacy postbit won't have any borders. This fixes that.
Anyway, the first screenshot is with the mod, and the second is without it.

I updated it to be more consistent with the rest of the templates (like THEY should have done in the first place. grrrr)

could you provide a link to the other mod mentionned in that thread? Just so I can check if the 'not-default' one might be helpful. btw thanx I am using your trick on my site :)

I'm not sure what mod you are referring to. If you mean my old way of making an outer border and an inner border (like vb3 comes by default) then it's sort of a moot point, don't you think?

oh... I was just curious. You're right. Nevermind :)
