I could use some feedback from the people who read this :)

I want to revamp the edit button in 3.5 because it isn't just edit, it is now more a manage post link.

What's your thought of this, should we still have a edit button or rename it to manage or something else?

Yep I like edit too. It is simple and understandable. You want to edit a post and that is what you click.

If you use something like manage post I can see some users thinking, "but I want to edit my post, not manage it".

I see where your thinking is going, but I feel the net is a little too diverse for such sublties.

A classic point is a support ticket that was filled with me today. The member said they did not like the new site design as they could not find out when our next event was on. I asked if they had checked the events listing which appears on the right hand side of every page or if they had clicked the link called calendar. I did not hear back.
