Sometimes we don't want the 'powered by vBulletin' in our title bar at the top, nor do we want our vB version displayed at the bottom of the page for security reasons.

We can safely remove or edit some of this and still comply with the vBulletin License Agreement.

To remove the Powered by vBulletin in your title bar at the top of the screen go to: Admin CP > Style Manager > Edit Template > Find "ForumHome" template and double click

In your forumhome template, find the following line:

<title><phrase 1="$vboptions[bbtitle]">$vbphrase[x_powered_by_vbulletin]</phrase></title>

Replace With:

<title>$vboptions[bbtitle]</title>

--
To change the vB copyright information, go to: Admin CP > Phrase Manager > Find phrase powered_by_vbulletin

Change to anything you'd like, but your copyright *MUST* be at MINIMUM the following:
vBulletin Copyright ©2000 - 2006, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.

Actually, I think it should be this:
<title>$vboptions[bbtitle]</title>

Corrected :) I just hardcode everything, considering I won't be using it on any other site :D

Very cool. I was intending to do this a couple of days ago and your post will prompt me to act. :)
