View Full Version : Retro Blue v1
Neeto 14th January 2006, 07:01 AM This is a free style, and I will support it as much as I possibly can.
Retro Blue is a style with several heavily modified templates as well as MANY new images. It has been a lot of work, but it was fun work, and I am glad to release it here first.
A live example is available at my site, Neeto (http://www.neeto.org/) as well as a smilie set that I have made for it. I have opted to release them seperately, as my smilies will be a main point of my own personal site.
There is a file entitled "Important Info", and you should read it to understand the terms that I ask, as well as some of the interesting things the style has to offer.
Bug & Other Nasties!
Should you find anything that is odd, or just not right, feel free to let me know here if you would like to. I am a regular here at vbfans, and will be glad to fix anything that comes up. :D
Special thanks to Robert, Disjunto, and elmo. You guys rock!

Sensational work. Your designs are always very smooth, I look forward to seeing this in action on a lot of boards. :)
Robert 15th January 2006, 10:33 AM Just going through some of the files and you may want to change the font in the layered logo.psd and layered site buttons.psd from Helvetica CE to plain Helvetica as the later is a little more common. :)
Neeto 15th January 2006, 04:58 PM I made mention of it in the file you were supposed to read. For future versions, I will indeed change it, but for now, the included file should explain that it can be substituted.
Disjunto 15th January 2006, 06:23 PM looks really good there neeto :D

Disjunto 16th January 2006, 06:30 PM naaa, I just take notice of a file that tells me what to do :P
Neeto 16th January 2006, 11:24 PM I have some updates to make to it. The layered logo file has wrong dimensions, needs to be cropped at the bottom, and there was one image mixed up. :)
paperback 29th January 2006, 11:24 AM Thank you very much
Neeto 8th February 2006, 07:00 PM Retro Blue, Version Two!
Since I can no longer edit my original post, I must add the updated file here. Anyway, just overwrite the images, and reupload the xml, overwriting the old one.
Truth be told, you probably won't notice any differences unless you study the old one real hard and compare to this one. But there are some good changes. Most importantly is the change of the "layered logo" files, which no longer have to be cropped in order to succesfully make a custom logo to match Retro Blue.
rixthemix 8th February 2006, 10:27 PM mega cool that one

But don't forget, that having freely aviable downloads is a reward for taking part in this community. Which is why we encourage people to post a little before they can download. Else people would just come here take what they want and not give anything back. ;)
