Yup, I'm at it again <g>

I have re-arranged my forumhome page so that the list of forums is in a narrow column on the left--giving me room for promotional content on the right (see the first attached image). Not entirely happy with the colors and type, but I like the layout.

I would also like to continue that layout onto the forum display pages (see the second image)--so that all of the forums are listed on the right, and the threads of the specific forum are listed on the left. But I can't get it to work! Can this be done with template modifications alone, or does the php need to be modified too?

I would think that the PhP would have to be modified as well considering php deals with module positions. I could be wrong but I wouldn't think it would hurt to try.
