Hi. I'm new here, but hopefully I'll be a contributing member sometime down the road. I'm pretty well versed in PHP and MySql and will probably be able to help some people out once I get more acquainted with vBulletin. I'm also a veteran BBS user, so don't expect many n00b-type comments from me either. :D

Cool! Glad to see that you will be contributive. And I HOPE you'll get some hacks out as well. Do you have a vB forums? I'd like to see it!

The forum is not set up as of yet (there's a little issue with my host regarding the XML PHP functions), but it should clear up. I hope to get some hacks out in the future, but like I said, I'm not well acquainted with vBulletin yet.

What sort of xml function issue are you getting?

vBulletin 3.0 requires that the XML functions in PHP be available. Please ask your host to enable this.
I get that when I try to install it. I've already contacted my host and they're usually cool about stuff like this.

huh I'm not familiar with that. Heres what you can do, go on vbulletin.com support forums and find this Test script (I'll try to find it for you but its a hard find). Run it, it should tell you what particular function that is off but needs to be turned on to run.
