bad_b0y707 30th March 2007, 12:01 AM Guys I know you will think that I'm noob but I'm new to Vbulletin and I tried to upload the file named "blackice" the where everything is in then i uploaded blacice_fixed.xml by the site but...NOTHING :\ Lol there's just nothing happening -.- It stay with ancient style lol please help me with a tut or just tell the problem
susieblue 16th April 2007, 12:22 PM hi there,
in the zip you will find a main folder called blackice. inside that there are two folders, one called blanks, and the other called blackice. its this blackice folder that you need to upload to your images folder. can you make sure you uploaded the right one please.
once youve done that, you should have no problems installing the theme. however, if you're using the CMS system, with the portal, you may have to tweak the file paths etc for that.
hope this helps :)

bad_b0y707 18th April 2007, 03:03 PM Kk ty for this but now I know there's something I directly upload from my forum ...What's the file I need to upload?
edit: watch what's happening :( http://gamercoders.exen.fr
susieblue 18th April 2007, 03:05 PM its the xls file -s- you'll find them in the level directly up from the blackice folder that you upload. one of them will be named fixedwidth, and the other is the flexible width version.
bad_b0y707 18th April 2007, 03:20 PM But that's exactly what I did but they're not named like that it's named blackice and blackice-fixed .... I tried to upload both of them and now It's doing that still :(
susieblue 18th April 2007, 11:55 PM inside the main folder, you will find a sub folder called blackice. you need to upload that entire folder to your images folder. then once youve done that, install the xls files in the admin area. what youve actually done is uploaded the contents, and overwritten your original contents. the entire folder needs to be uploaded.
bad_b0y707 19th April 2007, 12:29 AM See I'll tell u exactly what I've done... first i extrated blackice folder...then inside there was another blackice folder so I went smartFTP then log in then went in image in there I uploaded all the content of blackice but I didnt upload "the" black ice folder I highlighted everything wich was in and uploaded it cause it wasnt working if I wasnt so i replaced what they asked to then i went on my admin control panel from the site and did upload style then did upload the xml file... I tried both and it was still not working ZzZZz So I think i've done everything good but I still get the problem :*(
susieblue 19th April 2007, 12:35 AM no, it seems youve done it wrong. inside the main folder, there is a folder called black ice. you need to upload that entire folder. so that inside your images folder, will be the blackice folder.
then, install the style in your admin area.
if you do get stuck, i offer this installation service. pm me for further information.
