Hello
I´m Blackbeard.
I have a german community called "Pro-Board".
Currently we are still running an old phpBB2, but this will change within the next days because i have bought a vBulletin 3.0.3 and already started building the new forums.
I´m looking forward to post here from time to time ( as far as my small freetime allows me so )
BTW, your Professional Style looks really great !
Where can I get these kind of "light" styles ? What I am looking for are not these common "heavy graphics" styles I can find all over the web. What I am looking for are light styles which do not slow down the board too much and do not produce so much traffic ( I have a very active community, 10000 to 25000 posts a month )
Any hints where I ( legaly ! ) can get some nice styles please ?

Hi there, you have a very nice site and I am happy to hear you are new to vbulletin and no longer uses phpBB. Your site can only improve from now on! :)
The pro style we have is for sale, and if you are interested you can check out the purchase details here: http://www.vBulletin-Fans.com/style.php

Thanks :)
BTW, you can take a look at the old board here -> www.pro-board.net
We deleted 75000 posts and a lot of inactive members two months ago and are now again up to 56000 + posts with only a handful of active members.
With the new vBulletin board, which can be found here -> www.pro-board.de/forum
we decided to start over with a blank board. No import of the old posts or the members ( they will all register a new account on the new board anyway ), because with changing the boardsoftware we are also moving to another host.
I am building the new board since a couple of days now and there are just a few things left to do before I can take my Admins and Moderators over to the new board and finally open the new board to the public.
And so far I did not need any help at all with the vBulletin.
I am an OpenSource developer, and I coded my own BBS once. Normaly I do not like to buy software like Bulletin Board Systems, but I honestly have to say, the vBulletin is the damned best BBS I have ever seen and it really is worth the money.
It is a really impressive piece of software :)
