What's the most popular free skin used ?

First of all, do you mean for 2.x series, or for 3? Big difference. Secondly, it's hard to really give a good answer to this question for the simple fact that you aren't asking an opinion. You are asking for facts which can't easily be found out.

How would you propose someone to find out which is the most popular free skin?

vBulletinTemplates.com might give you a better answer and possibly has a few styles you can download.

The style from vBulletin.nl (pro & pro lite) aren't free, and can only be purchased. (fyi)

To sum it up, THERE IS NO 'most popular free skin' available.

I do not see why any would want a skin that everyone else has bought/downloaded I know vbulletin.nl plans sell one so no offence just my thought.

Sites should have their own style/theme that sets them apart. If you buy a skin off the rack why not just keep the defualt blue/purple.

I would never use anything someone else had for a skin, I would be ashamed and honest embaresed to show off my site and it look just like joe smoes

Some people might not be good at skinning though, so they need somewhere to get a professional looking one... Otherwise their forum might look bad [no offense to anyone this applies to]

It's not the look of the forum it's the atmosphere. I agree with Insanctus, I wouldn't want my site to look like any others. I've had the same ugly color scheme forever. I just modify the default style.

Oh yeah, if i see another vbulletin related site I'm gonna scream. Talk about overkill...saving this site, I only go to vb.com and vb.org. There are too many skinning sites I think.

I honestly recommend to anyone to design there own styles.
