Description: Kinda hard to describe, just look at the screen shot.
Screenshot: See attachment.

I didn't like how they had those little buttons that didn't show anything. So this is how I fixed it. :)

Great work :)
You got your vB3 forum open for the public yet? I like that style, and love to have a look.

I've looked at the pic, but my poor brain has had serious lack of sleep and isn't registering the thing that's supposed to be obvious. What does this thing do?

he removed the temp buttons and put text instead :)

I would rather just delete those temporary buttons completly. ;)

Ooh! The buttons at the right, DOH!

I've got different plans for that little area there. Although I think it will require creating a hack.

There were a couple of problems with this script...

1. The cell that contianed the buttons was left behind.
2. Guest users could see the links.

I updated the script to fix both of these problems. I left full credit to the original script author.

yes the cell is left there, but AFAIK guest could see the buttons, so what's the difference?

If you log out here guests cannot see the buttons.

There was a conditional on the code that was removed. I just added the same conditional on the new code at the bottom.

Guests don't need a buddy list, logout, latest posts, etc links. If they want to participate, or use those features, they should login :)

Thank you for the effort though.

On my test forum I still have the navbar revamp template modification - as seen on this site - but I just didn't get around to release it.

My version includes the fix for the colored table cell, (well, fix; I already had it coded before this one got released here rofl) and that third column was removed, the conditional was tweaked and the navigation holds 2 folders and well, just how it looks here. But with a few additional links on the right bottom.

I will release it here when I get around to it.

Sorry to create a bit of competition, but .. here is my version :P

http://www.vBulletin-Fans.com/showthread.php?t=316

It fixes the color on the newly added table row and won't show to guests at all. And included are images for folders in front of the navigation and that includes the showthread footer navbits :> I also made the search new posts bold so its easier to see and im sure users will use it more.
